Yabu Pushelberg, the renowned global design studio, has unveiled their collaboration with award-winning musical sensation Bruno Mars in bringing his one-of-a-kind dream to life at The Pinky Ring, a cocktail lounge and jazz bar located at the Bellagio Las Vegas. Entrusted by Mars to craft the interiors, lighting, and styling of the establishment, Yabu Pushelberg seamlessly translated his cinematic concepts into a decadent sensorial experience on the vibrant Las Vegas strip, evoking the alluring ambiance of a 1970’s private penthouse party. From the sultry lighting design to the meticulously curated interiors, each detail, spotlighting Mars’ timeless aesthetic and flair for understated elegance, promises an unparalleled experience. The journey begins with a circular screen façade, leading guests through a dimly lit mirrored passageway adorned with Mars’ Grammy collection, culminating in the heart of The Pinky Ring, the sunken Conversation Pit. Yabu Pushelberg’s design exploration extends to the visual identity of The Pinky Ring, with bespoke alphabet systems and brand collateral drawing inspiration from 1960’s and 1970’s decorative typefaces, perfectly encapsulating Mars’ essence in every detail.

Perched atop the highest point overlooking Flinders’ coastal expanse and Bass Strait, Peninsula House emerges as a striking testament to its rugged surroundings, its form a poetic fusion of Australia’s coastline and rural contours. A monumental ribbon of rammed earth ascends dramatically, enveloping the dwelling before melding seamlessly with the landscape, its elevation boasting minimal glazing and substantial thermal mass to temper the sun’s afternoon heat. Inside, a verdant atrium bathes the interior in natural light, guiding pathways that wind through three distinct zones, from the grand living area to the secluded master bedroom perched above. Here, a sweeping parabolic ceiling resonates with the melodies of a grand piano, while adjacent, a vast terrace offers panoramic views of valley and sea, ideal for hosting lavish gatherings. Clad in charred timber and earthy tones, Peninsula House blends effortlessly with its environment, its internal spaces draped in darkness, accentuating the interplay of light and shadow that dances across its curved surfaces. A purpose-built recording studio, nestled at the end of a hallway, adds a touch of intrigue to this enigmatic architectural marvel, a testament to its ethos of seamlessly blending with the land while offering unparalleled comfort and luxury.

The Santal Boisé scent is crafted from Srilankan sandalwood. The milky and balsamic fragrance is obtained from the roots and heart of the wood. Cypriol, a delicate flowering herb, adds a distinctive woody, smoky and slightly oud note to the perfume. Inspired by themes of family, creator Christophe Raynaud enriched the woody notes with luxurious, ambery Gurjun and saffron. The Atelier Versace fragrance line consists of twelve unique eau de parfum scents. The sculptural glass bottle is engraved with the name of the fragrance, and the packaging features the Atelier Versace logo in the interior mirror.
